N.G. de Bruijn Prize

Triennial

As of 2016, the N.G. will be awarded the Bruijnprijs every three years during the Dutch Mathematical Congress. The prize in 2016 was awarded for the best mathematical scientific work published in referenced journals in the years 2011 to 2014.
The price is made available by Elsevier because of the collaboration with the KWG in publishing Indationes Mathematicae. Candidates of Dutch nationality, living in the Netherlands or affiliated to a Dutch institution are eligible for the award. The laureate receives a medal of honor, a certificate and a sum of 4000 euros. The laureate holds a plenary lecture at the NMC. Travel and subsistence expenses shall be reimbursed. For the NAW an interview with the laureate or the laureate offers a widely accessible article at the NAW.
