Young KWG
Young KWG was founded in 2023 to promote a community of young mathematicians in the early stages of their career. When we say "young mathematicians," we mean a broad spectrum, from master students to (university) teachers, from prospective mathematics teachers to young professionals in the industry.
With Young KWG, we aim to create a community of young mathematicians in the Netherlands, a place where individuals can connect, interact, and learn from one another. We especially support international colleagues starting their careers in a new environment.
Workshop Public Interaction
On 18 June Young KWG organized the workshop "To reach a larger audience with your research." This workshop, given by Karst Oosterhuis van Hora Est, helps participants effectively communicate with journalists and audiences outside their field.
Young KWG Board
The board of Young KWG consists of enthusiastic volunteers.
They meet approximately once every month/two months to organise activities and come up with new initiatives to reach out and connect the mathematics community:
