"Communicating mathematics beyond research: how (and why) to reach out to a broader audience" - 22nd of April in Soesterberg.

Young KWG hosted a plenary session on science communication during the Netherlands Mathematical congress on Tuesday the 22nd of April. During this session, we explored how mathematicians can engage in science communication and why they should do so. Three speakers shared their experiences, from demonstrating the practical relevance of mathematics to making abstract concepts accessible and showcasing the beauty of mathematics.
