Wintersymposium moved to March 7

26 January 2026

The Winter Symposium, which was scheduled to take place on 10 January, could not continue because of the weather conditions. There is a new date: Saturday, March 7.

The program is unchanged. We dive into the math behind networks: from language models such as ChatGPT and the dissemination of information through social networks, to networks that play an essential role in research into epidemics and tumors.

Speakers are Michel Mandjes (Leiden University), Clara Stegehuis (Twente University), Mike van Santvoort (Eindhoven University of Technology) and Antske Fokkens (University of Amsterdam).

Those who had signed up before 10 January have been notified. New imports are welcome until 28 February.

On the page KWG Wintersymposium 2026 you will find more information about the program, the speakers and the lectures, and opportunity to register for participation.
