Call for nominations

The Royal Mathematical Society (KWG), the Mathematics section of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW) and the Platform Mathematics Netherlands (PWN) reopened the call for nominations for The Dutch Mathematics Prize 2025.

The Dutch Mathematics Prize is a new prize, intended for a fully active mathematician working in the Netherlands in the age category 45 to 60 years. The prize is awarded on the basis of exceptional contributions to mathematics research with high international visibility and to Dutch mathematics practice in a broad sense. The price consists of a free amount of money of 10 k€ And a charter. The KWG, the Mathematics section of the Academy and PWN organizes the award and award of the prize.

Nominations can be submitted via the email address secretaris@wiskgenoot.nl mathematicians, institute directors and deans working in the Netherlands, and consist of a curriculum vitae of the candidate of up to four pages of A4, a list of five important publications, as well as a letter of motivation. Further details can be found in the Regulation.

The closing date for nominations is 31 December 2025.

The award ceremony will take place by the end of the academic year 2025/26. Date and place will be announced on the website of the KWG as soon as they are known.
